Gender Reveal Party
magine a teacher at your school is having a baby! She is feeling so much joy and happiness. However, she has no idea if it will be a girl or a boy and wants to find out. The staff and students at the school are equally excited for her and want to throw her a Gender Reveal Party. In this activity, students will host and plan a Gender Reveal Party for a teacher at their school.
They will focus on planning a Gender Reveal Party for the teacher, but also invite their classmates, other teachers, and school staff that would want to attend. The students will plan and host the party. They will be put into groups and in charge of invitations, food, decorations, games and favors. Please note that the games, invitations, decorations, favors, and food recipes are not included. This is a great way to end your Labor and Delivery Unit.
The classroom teacher will pre-determine the baby’s gender. At the end of the party, to make it more realistic for the students, the teacher will reveal the gender by throwing pink or blue confetti or Easter grass (shredded paper) in the air.
