This is a fun activity that should be used after discussing theories of how to develop a child’s morals, values and self-esteem with your child development students. Students will select an age appropriate children’s book, read it and answer questions about the book that discusses a child’s morals, values and self-esteem. Students will learn if certain books would appeal to children, such as through analysis of the book cover, pictures, and characters. Each version asks different questions about the children's book. Please note that the books are not included.
